Halesowen Town Football Club, Will now get ready for their next league fixture at The Grove this weekend as we host play off placed Boldmere St Michaels.

Last time out, The Yeltz were at The Grove as we took on Gresley Rovers, after both teams had a couple of chances each it was The Yeltz who netted the opening goal in the 10th minute from Cobourne, Halesowen could have had more goals in the first half hitting the post and side netting a few times and making the visiting keeper pull off a class save, and we went into the break with a 1-0 lead.  Second half the Halesowen boys started quickly and just five minutes after the restart Kelly made it 2-0 in front of a packed out Shed end.  With the atmosphere at The Grove loud and proud it spurred on the boys to keep attacking and in the 85th minute Insall made it 3-0, to take all three points and a clean sheet in front of another 1,000+ crowd. The Yeltz are top of the league with 51 points having picked up nine points in their last five league games.

Last time out for Boldmere,  they were at home against Sutton Coldfield Town it took Boldmere until the 29th minute to find the opener and it was ex Yeltz man James Bowen to take the hosts into the break with a 1-0 lead.  Second half in front of a crowd of 437 looked to be ending with just a one goal but Alex McSkeane found the net in the 90th minute and then Andre Brown seconds later to make it 3-0.  Boldmere are currently in 5th position just inside the playoffs, having picked up 8 points in their last five league games.

Lets get The Grove full of Yeltz noise again this weekend and help the Halesowen boys push on and keep our unbeaten home form going.
